The 3-Second Rule: Can your neighbor help you?

In a crisis, your brain loses 50% of its processing power. If you’re at the hospital and a neighbor calls to help, you don't want to be digging for passwords or key locations.

You need the 3-Second Rule.

The rule is simple: A trusted person should be able to walk into your kitchen and find your home’s "Operating System" in 3 seconds. If it’s in a drawer, it’s too late.

The Fridge Protocol

Print your Essential Guide and tape it to the side of the fridge or inside a pantry door. This is for:

The neighbor letting in a repairman.
The cousin needing the WiFi to update the family.
The aunt checking the trash schedule while you’re away.

Paper is for the house; digital is for the road. Take 60 seconds to put this in your pocket:

iPhone: Open Notes > New Note > Camera Icon > Scan Documents.
Android: Open Google Drive > (+) Icon > Scan.
